Generally I love the lamp. The shade is a little more golden, but I like that. My only concern is the length of the cord and floor dimmer. You plug the lamp cord into the on/off dimmer cord and it is very long. I need to see if I can pull the cord thru the base and hide it there.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
